Description

Template:Cl (or “category link”) is used to display a category name as a link to the category.

It is a companion to {{tl}}, which serves the same purpose for templates.

Usage

{{cl|category name}}

Example

{{cl|Math Wiki project pages}}

produces …

Category:Math Wiki project pages

MediaWiki software alternative

If, inside wikilink square brackets, the category is preceded by a colon, the link to the category will also be rendered as with {{cl}}, rather than the page categorized to that category.

Example

[[:Category:Math Wiki project pages]]

produces …

Category:Math Wiki project pages
