Usage

Template:Talkheader/doc is used at the top of talk pages to remind users of basic talk page rules:

• To sign and date their posts using four tildes like this:   ~~~~

• Put new threads after old threads
  • That is, add new threads to the bottom of the talk page
• Add new comments after old comments within threads
  • That is, add new comments to the bottom of existing threads
• Direction for new users to Help:Talk page
• Reminder of three wiki principles:
  • Be polite
  • Assume good faith
  • Be welcoming

Syntax

Place Template:Talkheader/doc at the very top of a talk page, after any protection templates and before any other templates.
